I bought this 1973 Super Beetle in June of 1989.
By the end of that month I painted the hood and put the engine out of my 1968 VW van in it.
In August of 1993, I repainted it. This time a darker blue.
In July 1998, I painted again and went back to the light blue.
Over the past couple of months, I have been restoring it. I finished the outside today.
