To Benton and Mabelvale

This afternoon we took Parker back home to Benton.

We then went by my brother's house (Zane and Donna) in Mabelvale.

Their grandson, Matthew, was visiting from the Dallas area.

Thanksgiving Day

Michael, Priscilla and Parker got here last night for Thanksgiving.

Ashley and Michael got here about the same time.

Today we all, plus Brad, Shelley, and Aunt Merry had lunch at Ora's.

In addition to the blessing of all of us being together, there was plenty of good food for which to be thankful.




Everyone was gone by late afternoon except Parker who spent the night with us.
We went back to Mammaw Poss' for supper.

Parker's 2nd Birthday Party

Today Parker had her 2nd birthday party at Party Central in Benton.

Many of her friends, their parents, her grandparents, uncle, aunts and cousins were there.

She enjoyed the inflatable slides and play areas.

Her 95 year old great-grandmother, Ora, was also there.

Parker's Playhouse is in Benton

Back in the summer, Priscilla asked Pappaw to build Parker a Playhouse for Christmas.

The end of August he started building it in the barn at Nashville.

He made it "modular" so it could be transported to Benton.

He finished it last week.

Last Tuesday while Michael was here, we took it apart and loaded it on a trailer.

Yesterday morning, Shirley and I took it to Benton.

Uncle Zane came by and helped unload and put it back together.

Ashley also came.

Michael and I got it shingles by late afternoon.

We finished after dark.
